Baby bug

This is a painting of a good friends daughter. It had been a few years since I did a portrait and I really enjoyed the challenge.

A bit of history...

I began creating art as soon as I was able to hold a crayon. Scribbles quickly turned to little houses, trees, people and animals. I would draw every chance I got, and art became my passion.
I never did well in art class though, I wanted to do art my own way, not the way my teachers wanted it done. I seemed to have a stubborn creative bone and it clashed with theirs. I have done my own thing ever since and believe that there are no rules when it comes to art.
Over the last few years my painting has slowed down a lot. We now have 5 children and are expecting the 6th. I have been very busy just keeping up with daily life and homeschooling the school aged children.

If you are interested in any of these pieces (not marked SOLD) and are not local just send me an e-mail and I will put the piece into my etsy shop reserved in your name or send you a paypal invoice.

I take credit cards and e-cheques and once the payment has come through I will pop it in the mail. (Shipping is extra but extremely reasonable)
