This painting was so fun to paint and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to, which is usually a battle! I have missed painting over the last month and it feels sooooo good to be back at it! 12"x24".
So great, Banana! I'm so jealous that you have time to paint. I'm missing it so badly! I'm making plans to do some mural work in our house as portfolio work for Decorum - hopefully it will lead to getting paid to paint, which will mean I will be able to make the time for it! The idea is that Nate can hire someone to do floors (we just spent the entire weekend tiling, and I can barely move) so I can concentrate on the more artistic stuff. My fingers are crossed!

I have so much bottled up in my head that I have been losing ideas and can't wait for my husband to use some of his bonus to get me more canvas. Isn't it strange how the ideas come when you don't have time or supplies but when you do you hit a dry spell. (painters' block) Could just be me!
